College radio friends,
Over 530 college stations from 29 countries around the world are pledging to come together for World College Radio Day 2020 on October 2. Our theme this year is Global Solidarity Rocks!
This theme takes into account the global collaborations that we do each year, but also reflects on current needs worldwide from the streets of Beirut to the race to find a cure for Covid-19 to all the teachers and students that are facing the reopening of schools this and next month with much uncertainty. Campus radio stations stand in solidarity with new artists providing a platform to voices that otherwise may not be heard. Furthermore, student radio also unites in solidarity on causes important to their own community whether it is restocking the food pantry or running a toy drive to bring a bit of cheer to local elementary school children.
Your WCRD Team is busy pulling together exciting content, social media assets, sponsors, discounts, and working on making the 10th Annual World College Radio Day Experience one for the books.

On October 2nd the legendary 24-hr WCRD Global Marathon will take place. Here you will hear a mix of college radio from all over the world. Joined together in a broadcasting marathon selected stations will take turns providing our listeners with amazing radio shows. Sign up for the marathon HERE
