On October 7, 2022, the World College Radio Day event will see an unprecedented number of countries and college radio stations come together for a DECLARATION SUPPORTING PEACE BY STUDENT RADIO WORLDWIDE.
College radio stations around the world will take a united stand to say that thery support the right for people of all nations to live in peace and to be free from armed conflict and the threat of armed conflict.
All participating radio stations for this year’s WCRD will be listed as signees for this declaration.
This is an unprecedented declaration made in a time of global conflict and war, that continues to affect millions of people worldwide.
World College Radio Day 2022, will also feature the annual 24-Hour Global Marathon, with participating radio stations from around the world.
The theme for this year’s World College Radio Day is “Voices For Peace”
